JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Written Test: Candidates will take a written exam to help determine their position on the merit list. Those who have an NCC certificate will get extra marks as stated in S.O. 290 of 2021.
Physical Standard Test (PST): After being selected based on merit, candidates will have to take the PST.
This test is meant to qualify, and up to six times the number of available positions (for each category) will be called.
Physical Endurance Test (PET): Candidates who pass the PST must then take the PET.
This test is also a qualifying test.
