Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026 Education Qualification
Agniveer (General Duty – GD)
To be eligible, a candidate must have passed the 10th class or Matriculation exam with a minimum of 45% marks overall and at least 33% marks in each individual subject.
For boards that use a grading system, students need to get at least a ‘D’ grade (which is 33% to 40%) in every subject and an overall grade of ‘C2’ or similar, which means they should score 45% or more in total.
Agniveer (Technical)
Candidates need to meet at least one of the conditions listed below:
Passing the 10+2 examination with an intermediate level in the Science stream, having studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English, and achieving a minimum of 50% marks overall and at least 40% in each individual subject.
To be eligible, you must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent intermediate exam in the Science stream (with PCM and English) from any recognized state or central education board, including NIOS. You should also have completed an ITI course of at least one year in the required trade, with a minimum NSQF level of 4 or higher.
You need to have passed the 10th or Matriculation exam with a minimum of 50% overall marks and at least 40% in English, Maths, and Science. Additionally, you should have completed either 2 years of ITI technical training or 2 to 3 years of a Diploma in a relevant field as mentioned in the rally notification.
Agniveer (Office Assistant / Store Keeper Technical)
To be eligible, you need to have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with an intermediate level in any stream like Arts, Commerce, or Science. You must have scored at least 60% overall and a minimum of 50% in each individual subject. To get admission, you must score at least 50% in English and in either Maths, Accounts, or Book Keeping in Class 12th.
